Pair of Fairfield businesses team up to support animal rescue efforts

Stamford police rescued a seal pup that crawled onto the beach at Cover Island Park Thursday night.

Park police went to check on the lost pup, who they said kept approaching their patrol car.

They were able to successfully guide it back home into the water.
